Here at Burcroft Camping, we advise you NOT to buy a trailer Tent or Folding Camper from just a picture

Pictures can lie:-

These pictures show the same tent, one picture is from the outside the other from the inside. It shows how pictures can make things look good.

Is the picture you are seeing a recent photograph, is the picture of the actual unit you are looking to buy.

When buying from a dealer. Everything should be fully tested, checked and be guaranteed. If that is not the case or you are buying privately, ask to see everything set up and working. Get a quote for anything not working before you buy. Check for damp and mildew in the unit.

If you buy from a dealer you can be sure that-

• · The unit is the year it is being sold as
• · You have “full title” to the goods
• · There is no outstanding finance
• · The unit is not stolen. It is the dealers responsibility if this is the case

• “Not all dealers are the same” people who work from home and call thenselves dealers DO NOT give you the same protection. Ask for a VAT receipt with the trading name on and the business address.

If you do not get these, you do not have the same protection. You are buying from a private home, it is a private sale, you are not protected.
